As a Starco shipper, I believed that the current way of plot's developement is the best, not because of my shipping but for the plot and things from this point. If there were any too much strong chemistry between both 2 protagonists, the future parts would be more hard to expand. Most of romance details usually stay at the end of a series (Kim Possible, P&F, ...).
Remember that we still have ss3 for sure next year and there're still many twists in characters' personality which is worth waiting for.
But first, let's wait for next week's clown partyyyyyy...
I liked it. Funny to see Tom just write it off as something he caused a while ago and assumed it'd run it's coarse. Janna had a nice standout performance with her knowledge of the supernatural. Jackie is extremely patient when it comes to Marco and all his awkwardness. And shocking, a non-stereotypical nice jock. Don't see those too often.
Yeah, I'm gonna agree. The next episode will probably show us what will happen for Marco, Jackie and Star. My only gripe is that the winter finale is the last episode for Season 2 (I think). I wanted to see Ludo steal Star's Spellbook so he further master his want and for Toffee to potentially come back to life, but I guess that'll have to wait until next season.
It was both funny and sad how Marco had all his insecurities blurted out like that, but at least he got something good for his troubles in the end.
Defintely not the last episode of Season 2, last episode of Winter Season Finale. They don't air shows on December, due to the holidays. Many people are spending time with family, so not many would watch. Lowest ratings too, almost all TV shows does this.
I'm also a starco shipper, but guys...it is said in jannas witchcraft book, that the naysaya appears, when the victim tries to "woo his/her true love". And marco clearly tries to ask jackie out. Does that mean, that jackie is his true love? Not star? This observation leads to another thought. Did this whole blood moon thing artificially created a bond between marco and star? First I thought it was fate and they belong together and the blood moon was the proof for that. But with the "true love"... it could be that the blood moon was a disturbance in the normal run of things.
I think Star and Marco's feelings for each other are genuine, (Well..Star's feelings...Marco's potential future feelings.) but given the Blood Moon's appearance in the newest episode I'm willing to bet it's tampering with fate. if it hadn't been for it, Marco wouldn't have gone to fight off Ludo. and I feel this will have a major effect on the future.
True that book said true love, but Tom (who cast the spell and knows far more about it) acted as though it'd go off if he simply tried to ask out a girl. quote: "You haven't asked out a girl since the Blood Moon ball?" plus 'true love' simply means they 'truly love them' it doesn't mean they're meant to be. the Blood Moon has binded their souls together, it has spoken.
For that and many many other reasons I think it's obvious Starco will happen. we just gotta wait.
It's not the last episode of Season 2, Season 2 will have 22 episodes in all.
this episode was kinda like filler for me, i dunno, i didn't really like it. the naysaya was super annoying, so i guess it filled its purpose, but it shows that even if tom doesn't like marco, he still thinks he has a thing for star. other than that, this ep was like the stale end of white bread to me.
What do you think?
