<p>If Star didn't know what that dance was called, why did the Monsters choose to perform it? So, weird. Also, if Eclipsa has been trying to change, why does she keep all those disturbing items laying around her new castle? She has been telling everyone Globgor wasn't bad, yet all that stuff was just there! She should've gotten rid of all those things in order to keep people in Mewni from having a bad opinion of her. </p><p>Now, Star not trusting her with the spell book seems weird to me, specially given the fact that Eclipsa has been trying to make amends and be seen in a better light by her subjects. I do wonder if she'll give it to her sooner rather than later? </p>

<p>The monsters who we saw perform the dance were just children, and I can see how they would perform the dance and not know it's meaning. But yeah, there was no reason to having all that other stuff when trying to make peace with the other kingdoms.  </p><p>

<p>I get the feeling Eclipsia and Star might come to blows if this book matter becomes any more out of hand, I guess as a little nod to people thinkning she was going to be season 3s villian, without actually making her one </p>

<p>I guess they were children, can't really tell age since they aren't human/Mewman and was the first I've seen of that kind of Monster. But, in any case the dance is hundreds of years old and may have lost some of its original meaning to current Monster culture, happens all the time with any cultural item. </p><p>That is true that now Star has this idea in her head, but I find it so weird that she hasn't been paying attention to the stuff in the Monster Temple. I mean she has been there months and she never read the signs in that art room or really looked at some of the less abstract art? (This also includes Marco) I mean I could excuse the goblets and other fine china used during this episode as being used only in special occasions and this being the "first" such occasion since Star has been there and she hadn't seen any of it. </p><p>Thinking about it I think this might be the main reason Moon left as she did notice all that stuff and is why she doesn't trust Eclipsa! </p>

Eclipsa's life, from when she got the wand to the circumstances of her leaving with Globgor, are written in plain text for her to read. Star was just too lazy to read it and, like the Mewmans, didn't put any effort into getting to know Eclipsa. </p>

She read it in Page Turner.  Strangely, in the Book of Spells that can be bought, there's nothing in Eclipsa's chapter that explains why Marco went all evil at the end of Page Turner. </p><p>Eclipsa has shown that she cares more for monsters than her actual people and respects no one's privacy and willing to do anything to get what she wants, as proven when she snuck into Star's mind and not only kidnapped Rhombulus but bodysnatched him as well. </p>

I don't even see how Eclipsa's chapter could turn Marco evil, but it did in Page Turner. The writing in the last two seasons of the show has been such a mess. </p>
