In a move that will probably surprise no one, Star vs. the Forces of Evil has been officially announced as one of the numerous launch titles on Disney+.
This means that the show will probably leave Hulu in the coming months, so be sure to check it out there if you haven't (and don't plan on getting a Disney+ account). I want to also say that this highly increases the chances of a continuation on the platform, but of course we have no idea what is going to happen, so I really can't.
It should’ve been on launch and also I’m still waiting on Pepper Ann. Because we have Gravity Falls, Doug, And Recess. But no Pepper Ann And SVTFOE. What the heck, Disney+
i mean, disney was already pulling shows and movies off other platforms to prepare for D+ months in advance, and gravity falls is still on hulu despite coming out when D+ was launched.
So honestly i'm not sure if they have plans to take it and star off, kinda feels like they'd take them off sooner rather then wait if they didn't want them there.
That and, disney kinda owns hulu so money's going into their pockets either way.
So this has been a while coming, but apparently I was mistaken: Star vs. was never actually confirmed for Disney+; instead, it was one of the titles on the service as part of the exclusive demo for critics a couple of months ago. So it will be there eventually. The problem is, unlike other titles not on the service, there are a lot of shows and movies that don't have any confirmed dates as to when they'll be on there. Luckily for us, Star vs. is also unique in that it (and the Disney Short Film Collection) is the only one that is still streaming on another platform, in this Hulu, indefinitely (I would know; I've literally made a whole list on each title with no confirmed date). So you can at least keep watching it there for now.
