After rewatching the episode St. Olga's Reform School for Wayward Princesses and seeing the club marks on Miss Heinous' cheeks it made me wonder if she was part of the Butterfly family possibly a princess herself once. I decided to take a long look at "The Grandma Room" . I didnt find what I was looking for but instead something possibly more interesting.

We know that Eclipsa is Star's 9th Great Grandmother as mentioned by Glossaryck meaning there should be about 10 tapestries in the room. Four of them are shown to us in detail, obviously becasue they are more important for some reason. Lets take a quick look at the only other two I have been able to spot in the background first.

Because of the red diamonds on her cheeks and lack of a cannon name, I'll refer to her as "Diamond" Butterfly. Diamond here is difficult to catch in the episode and seems to show only once in the entire episode. I am curious about her Grecian/Roman appearance. It may indicate that she one of the oldest Butterflys. Her wand is a bit unexpected and appears to be a chalice. It may be useful to note the castle in the background as well.

Next we move to the featured tapestries, Starting with Celena Star's Great-Great- Grandma. Her cheeks are hidden by her wand which takes shape of a fan, or perhaps her fan hides her wand ( there is a clear wand silouette in the center of the fan) but we may be able to infer that her markings are that of a flower or rose bud from the poem seen here. It is also interesting to note the long line of people who wait outside her door with gifts. It does not seem that the building she is in could be the castle judging by the lower floor. This seem to be the only grandma that Star knows/ recognizes.

Her poem seems to indicate that the castle fell under attack thus leading to her being seen as a hero. What sort of princess was she before this event? There is little more to say about her other then she may have single handedly took down a monster army with her flaming sword wand.

Now for Eclipsa. Her spade mark is carved onto her poem as well. There are a few things that stand out in her tapestry. The first being the massive monster behind her. and the second being the ring he wears. The poem states that Eclipsa married a monster but to me the creature holding her resembles not a monster but someone else .

Tom is classified as a demon not a monster, and there seems to be a few distinct differences between the two. Demons have supernatural powers and monsters dont seem to have that. Demons are more human like where monsters are more mutant and animal like. It may be a loose association but the creature holding Eclipsa could be a demon she summoned with one of her dark spells perhaps her most used spell and not the monster she married.

Queen Moon Butterfly may have one of the more interesting tapestries as she battles Toffee. She looks so much like Star its almost impossible to tell them apart. We see here how Toffee lost his finger. The part that is interesting is that he lost it to Moon's darkest spell. This tells us of course that Moon practiced dark magic but also may allow us to infer that she was not trying to kill Toffee for some reason. For the poem to say it is her darkest spell indicates that it must also have great power. And she manages to permanantly cut off the finger of an immortal who can supposedly regrow parts. Aiming a little lower the beam would have hit him in the head or body a much easier target certainly doing irrepairable damage. Toffee's almost shocked face brings up a lot of questions but his armor brings up more. On the skulls are cheek marks. The left skull having spades ( Eclipsa) and the right having Diamonds (Moon & "Diamond") . it is possible that Toffee killed two Butterfly's but Toffee is the calculating type and preferes to have others do his work for him. I personally want to think that Toffee may have been some sort of guard or servant, he served in someway under the Butterflys and his armor reflected that . What lead Moon to attack him? We may learn soon. He knows far too much about the wand and spell book to not have gotten personal information on it from somewhere, likely being in close contact with the family.

Here we see the beginning of Star's own tapesty its not much at the moment, but there is a massive difference that I found strange. Each tapestry is very detailed clearly showing each princess/ queen, depicting something important . but each one has onething that never changed. the border on the others is gold with diamond shapes and vines. Star is unique and so is her border of narwhals. I think this says star will change everything in her own unique way .

I'm sure there are more things I missed in this one episode alone. So may details and so many secrets. Let me know how you see them.
