Star vs. the Forces of Evil

As you know, I have been working on my “Star vs. the Forces of Evil: The Movie” idea. The movie takes place one month after the events of the series finale episode, "Cleaved".

For those who make SVTFOE OCs, I need new characters for my movie idea. Please make the new characters with their outfits listed here.

While I talked about Star enough after 4 years and already did a Top 10 Ways to Fix the Show and rewrote Battle of Mewni and I still like and adore the show(even i'm less of a Star/Marco fan,even if I still like them and find them enjoyable and I still show some love to Seasons 1-2) and already did a revision of Star on Loadmo10's Tumblr blog,planning a continuation fanart series of the show with Luna(Star's daughter)(Inspired by Dragon Ball Z,The Farly OddParents:A New Wish,talked with others a lot about the show,and MixZero6's alternate ending to Cleaved). Plus,I ended my trust and friendship with a former user who turns anyone into a enemy who doesn't share his obsession with Star Vs. and made up facts and beliefs about the show(I'm looking at you,ArceeStarFan97).

I feel the reason Star Vs. The Forces of Evil went on a downward spiral during Seasons 2(even S2 was still great and probably the show's best season and biggest peak/prime point with memorable,amazing episodes(such as Game of Flags,Ludo in the Wild,Mathemagic,Sleepover,Starcrushed,Starsitting,Into The Wand,Just Friends,By The Book,Bon Bon The Birthday Clown,Baby,Face The Music,and Raid The Cave),continuity kicking in,more character development and growth,romance drama handled well,and a emotional cliffhanger scene with Star admitting her crush on Marco that lead to Battle of Mewni)and Battle of Mewni(which felt underwhelming and stupid and nothing but filler instead of a all-out war),then finally entering a dumpster fire with Seasons 3-4,which focused more on romance arcs and ship wars,the characters becoming more dumber and inconsistent than usual,being mostly on Mewni instead of Earth most of the time,having arcs that left unsolved or stuff that was never brought up again,and while Season 3 had so many great ideas and potential in spite of it's poor writing and confusing,boring tone,as well as Eclipsa being the best part of the season(and S4),Season 4 was the worst since it really amped up the characters flanderization to massive extremes,shattering everything that was good and built up at the point,focusing more on romance ships and teen drama shenanigans,and the finale(which was Daron's idea for the start)ended up topping off the show on a abysmal rushed estroic happy ending note with Star destroying magic just to be with Marco, and she and Marco ended up together by fusing Earth and Mewni together into once.

Well for all of it,the main reason for why Star Vs. The Forces of Evil started off good around Seasons 1-2,then started to decay around late Season 2-3 and went downhill and why it failed to be the next Gravity Falls,Amphibia,and Owl House,I feel I think I feel once reason to blame for Star's downfall and becoming the most polarized show in Disney Channel's history was all(now pointing fingers at)because of animator and co-showrunner Dave Wasson's departure after Season 1, since he was the reason why brought this show to life alongside Daron and made it so great in the first place,since Season 1 and helped supervise and make the show great to starting out good by writing and directing many episodes for Season 1.

Since I appreciate Dave Wasson as a animator and besides developing and help create Star in the first place,alongside Daron. He really made a lot and contributed to a lot of great stuff such as creating Time Squad for Cartoon Network and co-creating Netflix's The Cuphead Show with Cosmo Serguson,did several shorts of Tales from the Goose Lady and Max for Oh Yeah Cartoons!,also,served as writer,director,and director on Nickelodeon's Making Fiends,and was a writer for Disney's stylized The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse shorts for Disney Channel/Disney+.

I feel after Dave left in Season 1 to focus more on writing for Disney's new Mickey Mouse shorts at the time,the show was not the same without him and while Season 2 was still good,it really took a dark turn around Seasons 3-4 and ended on a sour note with a rushed anti-climatic ending(Kinda like how Chris Savino was fired from The Loud House around Seasons 2-3 and Michael Rubiner took over and really failed to continue the show and started to turn it into a cashcow franchise for SpongeBob). Star should've remained great and could've been the next Gravity Falls,Kim Possible,and Phineas and Ferb if Dave Wasson never left the show as writer,director,and executive producer and Dominic Bisignano and Aaron Hammersley took over his position and made things worse alongside Daron after Season 1 and really started the downfall around Seasons 3-4 with the focus on romance ships,decline in quality,and self-inserts/bad writing choices.

I wish instead of leaving the show after "Storm The Castle",the show's developer Dave Wasson stayed on board as writer,director,and executive producer for the rest of the series since he was one of the reasons what made the show so great in the first place,even the first season, he would've handled the story and characters better and prevented Daron Nefcy from going too far with her shipping idea,made Battle of Mewni a all-out war instead of a arc full of filler episodes and relying on bad writing,since he is a good creator and writer and contributed and know how to make characters with flaws(like Star Butterfly,If Dave stayed on board as producer and writer and started work on Season 2 with Daron and the crew, Dave would’ve not let Daron and the writers put the reset(Aesop Amensia)button on Star after her character development in Season 1 and revert her back to square one and continue her character development,by keeping her personality,but have her get better and more mature and responsible,learn to be more self-sufficient,have Marco teach Star to be nicer and more empathic and think before acting, and continue her character development onward from Season 1 and for the rest of the series instead of putting the reset button and reversing it by every season)enjoyable and likable to watch like how he did with the Paul Rudish Mickey Mouse shorts,The Cuphead Show,and Making Fiends. I hope if Disney comes back and revives Star for a timeskip sequel series or movie once day in the future,they would rehire Dave Wasson and he would've been shown and be aware of the show's flaws and mistakes,mostly in Seasons 2-4 and the damages Daron did in the final season and fixed everything that went wrong and make it better.

Despite her mistakes,at least Daron did learn and move on from them and decided to make up for them by showing her values and thoughts as a person,I still appreciate her for creating Star in the first place and Daron did her best with the show,even doing just as good as Dave with Seasons 1-2,even if the show had some rough patches,her finale idea becoming a mistake, and went a horrible direction after Season 3-4,along with praising her for being a mother to a son now,still pitching and developing projects to studios,and posting art on Instagram and Disney still had Star and Marco appear in Chibiverse and Broken Karoake.

If Dave Wasson never left Star Vs. The Forces of Evil,he would've made the show ten times better and never let the creator,Daron Nefcy and writers from going too far and he and Daron would've made the show the next Phineas and Ferb, Gravity Falls,Amphibia,and The Owl House,if he stayed on board for the rest of the series as director,producer,and writer and made the characters(such as Star and Marco) and story/continuity get better as it went on and had Daron keep her shipping idea to a minimum,told her to revise the scripts,and not rely on lazy writing,unsolved arcs,and romance ships that much. I know Daron is the creator and driving force behind the show and even if I like her and didn't hate her for what she did to the show later on,I consider Dave Wasson to be the one who helped and put his heart and soul with Daron into making the show great and start out on a awesome note with Season 1 and a much better showrunner and writer for the show,since he helped Daron create it and he wrote and directed a few great episodes for Season 1,such as Monster Arm,St. Olga's,Storm The Castle,Star Comes to Earth,Mewnipendence Day,Quest Buy,Mewberty,Match Maker,and Blood Moon Ball.

As much of a great mixed bag Star Vs. The Forces of Evil,the show could've been great if Dave Wasson never quit the show after Season 1 and made it even better than Daron did without him after Season 1(Season 2 was still great,Season 3 was meh and confusing,but had a lot of good ideas that became wasted potential,and Season 4 was just terrible and rushed.) If Disney ever brings back Star in the future,they'll probably rehire Dave Wasson(alongside Daron Nefcy) again and retool and fix the show and undo the damages that was done in the finale season,along with shown the mistakes that were in Seasons 2-4.

I had this idea for an on-screen Disney Television Animation closing logo, which will appear at the end of Star vs. the Forces of Evil: The Movie (before the 2024 Walt Disney Pictures closing logo with the full animation).

It will have silhouettes of Star Butterfly from Star vs. the Forces of Evil, the titular characters from Phineas and Ferb, Dipper and Mabel Pines from Gravity Falls, Anne Boonchuy from Amphibia, Kiff Chatterley and Barry Buns from Kiff, and the titular character from Paul Rudish’s iteration of Mickey Mouse.

This is inspired by the Hasbro Entertainment on-screen logo from Transformers One, which comes out next week.

Well I have an OC Storm Butterfly which is Starco's daughter and I made for her 3 kids - 2 girls and boy. But I don't know what names or cheekmarks give to them. Can you give me some ideas?

Here are some stuff I would keep and change in SvtFoE if I did a rewrite/redo of it:

Change:

Make Star more of a likable,nicer,and more empathic main character by taking out the god complex/prideful ego,shortcomings, and selfishness,that would make her grow and truely learn from her mistakes and grow as a person instead of regressing and becoming more self-centered,egotistical,hypocritical,destructive,idiotic,vain,mean-spirited,ornery,irresponsible, and insensitive as the series went on. Have Star’s actions rewritten by showing how it could cause problems to others,have her not go way too far by being irresponsible and causing accidentsand continuing to run away from her problems by giving her morals and standards, and show stuff in front of Star to remind her of why she messes up and never takes responsibility for her actions and a justified reason on Star's flawsdue too not being taught humility as a child and getting her selfishness and ego due to her royal life and the amount of attention and being put on top of everyone she got from River and the guards,that way she can learn and mature from it. Also,I would expand the opening scene of the first episode to explain more on Star’s life and a backstory episode on how Star is the way she is.

Also,after Battle of Mewni, have Star become more mature,responsible,self-aware,open-minded instead of becoming more arrogant,short-tempered,ignorant,dumber, and still run away from her problems and containing to make mistakes and not have her go back to Mewni,but have her return to Earth, so she would humble a lot more and learn to be better given that she did more foolishness than learning in her Earth training and needs to prove to her family that she is responsible enough to handle herself and be a good ruler to Mewni. Have her attend therapy and train and learn under Marco and Glossryck’s spirit form and learning humility and responsibility,along with getting advice from her parents(Moon and River) and taught what a monster is. Also,explain how Star grew up without any real friends and have admit hated her old royal life,along with being told stories about the wars and conflicts of Mewni by her parents,that way that would make her more relatable and sympathic and less problematic and flawed to the viewers. Have her anger kept under tranquil fury and have her get mad or angry to a much lesser extent(similar to Wander,Mabel,and Phineas) than usual and keep her as a nice and good friend to everyone with morals. Have her get jealous in a good way by being upset at Marco’s relationship with Jackie by having a eye twitch or keep up a fake smile and have her a punch a wall at times without everyone watching or shouting loud inside her head,but don’t make her act impulsive so much without thinking and hurt people out of anger,even her own friends.

Keep:

Keep Marco in his original pilot characterization since he is meant to be a cynical,moody kid who almost hates everyone,except for his friends(Alfonso,Fergunson,Jackie-Lynn,Janna,and Starfan13) and loves his family. He would contrast way better with Star’s happy-go-lucky,reckless attitude and even have more of a point against her actions more,even being jealous of her popularity at school,always being complaining about being dragged by Star into her interdimensional adventures(why do I always have to be dragged into your adventures,why do I always have to clean up your dumb messes),and even in the finale of S1,he calls her out on her flaws and actions with a huge Reason You Suck speech after he and Marco nearly getting killed in the last adventure due to Star caring more about a sandwich than their lives at stakes. Also,Marco would start off hating Star,but he grows closer to her and becomes a better person similar to Amity and Scratch.

Change:Don’t make Solaria horrible as a mom to Eclipsa and make her a ruthless mother-hating pyscho,make her the Odin of the story,by having her help the Magic High Commission despite her old age and even after Eclipsa is recrystalized,she took her power and wand.

Keep:Moon as the way she is before,a overbearing queen and struggling mother who tries to be a good mom but fails at it and acts too controlling and cold towards Star. Also,keep her cool warrior queen side and not abandon it after the fight with Meteora and keep her overprotective side towards Star,but make it more reasonable. Keep her original Royal queen look from Seasons 1-2.

Change:

Don’t ruin Moon’s character with contradiction and character assassination in Season 3,then pull a 360 degree on her that ruined her character in the final few episodes of the series. Make her a perfectionist as a personality then realize her own flaws later on and change into a better parent after acting too controlling towards Star here.

Instead of Moon still acting overbearing towards Star and later,having her relationship with Star become more negative in the later season,have her show her as not as a cold and stoic queen by showing her to be pretty nice towards her own kind and other races like all monsters,but she has limits at trusting some of them. Also,I would have her midway through the series have her realize her perfectionist personality by becoming too controlling and cold to the point she realizes how much she gone too far by acting cold and controlling towards Star here.

I would have more reasons on why she was hardly a good and such a neglectful and cold mother to Star,given how I think in my rewrite of Battle of Mewni,Star would’ve told Marco that her mother never really cared about her and her father was always there for her due to her being too busy with duties or being away,but deep down Moon cares for Star and never really shows her love for her and hides it because she never learned humility early when being raised as a queen. Have her bond with Star grow stronger and closer as the series goes on,along with a justified reason why she acts so cold and rude towards her as a mother due to not learning humility and was pampered and spoiled as a queen that made her so invulnerable,being formally friends with a lizard which resulted in him killed off her mother, and it sends a reason on why she wanted to change the system by remembering she is queen,she would restore balance now. I also as a overprotective mom,I would have her not wanting star to get hurt till she finally learns maybe its good for her daughter too learn along and grow up to be a good wise ruler rather than continuesly being a cold-hearted control freak towards her.

Keep:

The books about the 22 queens of Mewni,but explain it to the audience and start off an arc similar to the lost 3 journals of Gravity Falls.

Change:

Have Moon’s relationship with Eclipsa not be conflicted or bigoted,by having Moon instead of being bigoted against her,She shows concern and horror for her and fears her infamous reputation would impact all of Mewni if she is broken out of her crystal prison. But later,feels sorry for her when she is in a coma and finds a source to her cure with Ambrosia’s help. Also,have her discover the truth about the secrets of Mewni instead of Star herself,realize her father,Lazlo Marmalade now a old man is still alive and out there in Mewni,and find out about the true cause of her mother’s death,since she died of Natural Causes instead of killed off by Toffee,meaning the Council lied anout her deathand go war,since a friend on Wiki Fandom revealed that this was a discarded idea from the series that never got used in Season 3-4.

Keep:

Butterfly Castle,but have it rebuilt after being destroyed by Meteora instead of being left in ruins.

Change:

Expand the first season from 13 to 20 episodes to give more room for character development,story/continuity,world-building,and lore. I would also make Battle of Mewni and the finale hour-long episodes.

Change:

Do not kill him off,but have his gooey remains revived by a cult of monsters and have him brought back with allies to get revenge on Star and Moon for the former for killing him before. Also,give him more depth by explaining a reason why he hated Mewmans was due to his family being killed by magic(the reason Seth wanted to destroy magic)and vowed vengeance against the Butterflies,have Moon bring his finger back to him after he succeeds in defeating and killing off Star and Marco(who come back after going to the spirit realm and Glossyrck sends them back with the power of love/friendship to fight Toffee)in Battle of Mewni,and show how and Moon used to be friends before Seth raised and molded him to be a ruthless conqueror like him(similar to King Andrias and Anakin Skywalker)and have Moon tell it to Star.

Keep:

Ludo and his villain/redemption arc.

Change:

I would have the narrative explain why he and the Avarius family hated the Butterfly family and why he wanted to steal Star’s wand so he can make his family proud and accept him again. Also,after his redemption,have him reunite with Star and Marco at the end and have Star and Ludo becoming friends now. Also,have him more of a sympathetic villian by showing as much as he attacks and kills people,he never goes too far in killing anyone compared to Toffee,have him hate his parents for being abusive and forcing him out of their kingdom,but loves his brother,Dennis and would do anything for him. He also shown to dissprove racism and hates being mocked and tortured by everyone. Also,he is not a fan of spoiled royalty,even despite being a hypocrite,he mocks Star for her irresponsibility and recklessness. Also,have him be protective of his pets and beats anyone who hurts them. He would also stand up to his parents for their abuse and mistreatment of him(similar to Pacifica and Amity).

Keep:

Mina Loveberry,but still keep her as a joke character while becoming more psychotic later on.

Change:

have her ally with the MHC since they used to serve Solaria in the wars of Mewni,have them team up in wiping all monsters from Mewni and have Rhombulous power her soldiers with crystal suits and be the one who uncrystalizes Globgor instead of Moon asking him to do it. Also,make her more pathetic than before by having her betrayed by Hekapoo,Omnimatrix Prime,and Rhombulous for using them and having her beat down by Star and Marco in a final battle,while requiring help from other solarians and have Star,Marco,Eclipsa,and Moon remove the powers for her soldiers,making them powerless and Mina being thrown in a mental asylum,while the MHC are forced to do community service to make up for their irrational deeds towards the Butterfly family.

Eclipsa,her family,and arc.

Change:

explain more of Globgor’s backstory and how he regretted his past bad crimes agaisnt Mewni due to his love with Eclipsa and being softening over the years.

Show and explain how the painting of Eclipsa’s dad said the mysterious words of Marco about the blood moon.

Have Starco built up without any toxic nonsense or TomStar arcs and take out the Beach Day photo. Also,have Star apologizing to Marco for admitting his crush on him back at the party when her mother took her back to Mewni. Also,have Star and Marco grow closer to each other by going on dates before kissing and getting together and becoming king and queen of Mewni at the end.

Change:

Have Eclipsa,Moon,Star,and Marco all fight Meteora at once together instead of just Star herself. Also, I would not make Star give the wand back to Eclipsa and have her keep it and let her mother,Moon continue to be queen instead and remove Moon’s fight with Meteora that caused the whole Moon Amensia conflict instead.

Have River use his scepter,but use it more than just one time.

Change:

How long will Star Vs. The Forces of Evil become popular once again and made the company that produced the show and fans forget about the Cleaved backlash and audience-alienated finale almost 5 years ago.

If Star Vs. The Forces of Evil got a reboot by Disney Channel and Disney+ in the next two or three years(probably in 2025(the year the show turns 10 years old) or 2026),how would a reboot of the show fix most of the problems the show had,have a better continuity and serialized story than the original,not end with magic being destroyed,have the writers show more love and passion to what worked in the original show and make it better than the original series, and how would the new writers would handle and write the characters way better than Daron Nefcy and the OG series writers did. How would a reboot of Star Vs. The Forces of Evil work better and fix the mistakes and problems the original series had. Let’s just forget about the negative backlash of the original show’s finale 3 years ago and hope and pray Star would be next in line for a reboot on Disney Channel and Disney+ after DuckTales(2017),The Proud Family,and Phineas and Ferb soon.

Since Disney will bring back Star Vs. The Forces of Evil in a reboot or special/movie continuing where Cleaved left off,how would they make and introduce Seth(Toffee’s boss)as the new villian,how would his actions and motivations be like,how would they make him more evil,vile,and dangerous than the show’s previous villains ever were(Toffee,Ludo,Meteora,and Mina)and have him on par with Bill Cipher,King Andrias,and Emperor Belos,have him call out and point out Star and Moon out on their flaws and mistakes,leading to Star regretted destroying the magic and fixing her past mistakes,reveal the reason why Toffee hated and wanted magic dead(which Star succeeded his goal) and reveal that he poisoned Moon’s mother,Comet and lied to the council that Toffee killed her,as a attempt to make the wars worse,attempted to try and kill Star for what she did to Toffee,and have him reveal that he has magic of his own to use to still travel through dimensions despite Star already destroying it. How would Daron and the crew make Seth the new villian of the series in the revival/reboot and make him much more dangerous and vile than the other villians on the show of the series came back?

If a special or movie or a reboot of Star Vs. The Forces of Evil comes out in a couple of years,how would it fix and redeem the characters that the show failed to develop and give them proper character development,redemption,and growth and undo most of the bad mistakes the later seasons did?

What a letdown.

What way in some media should SvtFoE should be brought back outside of Chibiverse appearances and make the people at Disney forget about the backlash of the show’s ending 4 years ago.
