I propose we change Tom’s profile to either one of these images, since they have his normal “day” color scheme
I’m like super late to this discussion but eh whatever
It was mostly dull. I liked the moral River taught Star at the end, but sitting through all of that wasn’t worth it lol. Also Moon was kinda bitchy with Star in the beginning

I was really intrigued the whole way through, but I wish it didn’t leave me with so many questions (especially since allegedly there are no new episodes till next year). Did Star loose her magic? Where is Moon, if Star returned to Mewni where was Moon sent?
I really hope that Star still becomes queen in the future and doesn’t loose her magic.
Ponyhead is terrible. She’s had no character development, all she does is make things worse for everyone else. Loosing her horn did nothing for her. The ending of this where she berates Hornine is a prime example on how awful she is
Thought it was kinda dumb that St Olga was a robot (and they killed her after she had 2 minuets of screen time) but her being a robot works really well with how she treated and shaped Meteora
The Nth Doctor wrote: This episode started off fun, with Pony Head having to take a "brunch test", but it got intense fast when Heinous/Meteora showed up. I was shocked to see her sacrifice Gemini and blow up Rasticore like that.
As vile as she was, you still can't help but feel sorry for her, considering her past. King Shastacan had her discarded because she was half-monster, and everything that happened to her after that made her more of a monster than he'd ever imagined. And now she knows she's the true heir to the throne...
From the promo, I was not looking foreword to this episode. Pony head can really get on my nerves sometimes. But it actually was the complete opposite, and the stuff with Meteora was really intense. I really like her new monster form and her longer hair, but It’s realy sad/disturbing that St Olga pretty much emotionally abused her

It was nice to see Marco back on Earth again. But it was super creepy how he ended up looking like his painting.
We also got some nice Starco moments in this episode, such as Star getting Marco back to normal by answering every question about him correctly, and calling his face "beautiful" afterwards.
I don’t really like their name for the baby lol . It’s kinda lazy , and it doesn’t make sense because Jr is when your’re names after your parent
I love that Unicorn Realm thing Star went to. The atmosphere and music is sooooooop soothing.😴 I wish I could go there!😫

Two, this was super filler. We got elaboration on Pony Head's family, but that's really it. Nothing exciting like yesterday.
I need more Kellco, by lord! It fuels me raaaage.
But Star’s outfit....
I liked it! I love Star’s outfit and Ponyhead’s sisters are pretty interesting. I hope we get to se them again and see them in a different light, when they’re not trying to kill someone...
Only problem I have is that I kinda wanted the end to have Ponyhead get along with her sisters better and realize they’re not that bad, and not take the route that is like “yeah they are evil” because that’s kinda predictable
I thought it was kinda dumb tbh. The whole episode was just Star, Marco and Ponyhead running from pigeons, and the reveal that Prince Pigeon can talk means that whole thing was kinda pointless because he could have spoken earlier. Idk just wasn’t very interesting to me. Kinda filler-y

1. She has a significantly distinguishable hairstyle and color. This is a common trope of most recurring characters in most animes, which SVTFOE is heavily based on. For evidence, compare characters like Alfonso and Fergusson (yes they recur but remember Daron hates them) to characters like Janna and Jackie: Distinctive hairstyle, distinctive appearance, and frequent one-on-one interaction with a main character (i.e. Marco). Obviously, Higgs fits into the latter category.
2. To a lesser extent, Higgs also seems to work with the tsundere trope in anime as well- a character that is initially cold and indifferent but later warms up to others.
As a fierce Starco shipper (albeit one of the ones who is trying to be patient about it), these past two episodes were mildly discouraging, but I kinda want to see Marco get back in a relationship because they seem to develop his character really well, if Jarco was any indication. Another ship to add the collection, I guess. One ship sinks to let another sail :P
Bottom line: I'd love to see Higgs come back in any capacity; I think she has more potential as a character than people have given her credit for.
She probably will be seen again, but does every new character Marco interacts with have to be a love interest?
The other squires were jerks. 😐
OK HOLY CRAP AROUND THE TIME INTO THE WAND CAME OUT I THOUGHT THAT MAYBE TOFFEE KILLED MOON'S PARENTS AND THATS WHY SHE WANTED REVENGE AND WHY WE NEVER HEARD ABOUT STAR'S GRANDPARENTS AND I THOUGHT THNAT WASNT A GOOD THEORY BUT THE TRAILER PROVED IT RIGHT AND I REGRET BOT STATING MY THEORY😭😭😭😭
