The Blood Moon Ball is an Underworld ball that occurs every 667 years. Tom takes Star Butterfly to it in the episode of the same name.

The event is usually attended by demons and gruesome monsters and features blood-drenched couple photos, cauldrons of flesh-melting punch, and a dance under the light of the blood moon in which two lucky souls are chosen to be bound together for eternity. Much to the demons' dismay, the latest ball is not up to par after Tom changes the blood from the usual kind to unicorn, allows attendance by more attractive monsters, and requests his own music for the dance under the moon, which is stolen by Marco.
