For who don't know what it was, a "special event" on Reddit in which Daron Nefcy, Dominic Bisignano, Aaron Hammersley and Adam McArthur answered to as many questions from the fans as they could.
Here you can recover all of it: https://www.reddit.com/r/StarVStheForcesofEvil/comments/cll9u5/star_vs_the_forces_of_evil_ask_me_anything/
That's the principal things we discovered, if you want a summary:
1) Apparently Toffee was an historian, and the fact that he knew so many things (Whispering Spell, how to corrupt magic, the Realm of Magic) was only because he did intensive researches. The skulls on his shoulders during Battle of Mewni were from Butterfly family members he personally killed (even if they had the same cheekmarks of Eclipsa and Moon). Oh, and his plan ended after he returned to Mewni, so yeah, he was actually convinced to have won and had no backup plans until he got his face blasted.
2) Daron knew since the very moment the series got renewed for a fourth season that would have probably been the last one. So she wrote "an ending" and planned accordingly. She was not cut by Disney and the show wasn't "canceled while in production". She's convinced to have made a good job about the finale and the criticism for her is just because "We want more". Ugh. I found it pretty insulting, honestly.
3) For Nefcy, Seth is dead, and from "a long time" too (even if he was still alive at Comet's time). On the other hand, for Dominic he's still around, and he could eventually be in some future work of the series, in case Disney would want more. In any case, he was never supposed to make an actual appearance in the show, just an additional element for the Book.
4) Even if magic is gone, Monster Arm is still inside Marco somehow and maybe one day could arise again. They planned several times his return, but they could never write something they considered good enough about it.
5) Doop Doop is gone gone. RIP.
6) The painting from Blood Moon Ball episode, as the Book owners know, was of Alphonse the Worthy, Eclipsa's father. But how did this tie into anything? Why did he talk to Marco? Daron's answer: "Magic". And the Blood Moon is both a curse and a blessing, for her.
7) According to Aaron, Star liked Marco since they very beginning, just like Marco admitted he had feelings for Star since day one.
8) Tom didn't lose his powers, since they're in his nature and not magic. He can even still create portals through flames.
9) Omnitraxus may be dead, but the alternative universes still exist. They just can't be reached anymore.
10) Eclipsa intended with Black Velvet Inferno to bring back Meteora as a baby to give her a "second chance", and it was not a collateral effect. But it was a very risky spell that could have killed her instead, that's why she was so worried.
11) Miss Skullnick is human again.
12) Laser Puppies are still alive, but not lasery anymore.
13) From now on, Star and Ludo will play basketball together.
14) Only Earth and Mewni were cleaved together.
15) Ludo originally stole Katrina and her brothers from an orphanage.
16) Daron says that StarFan 13's true name is Amanda Jacobs. Adam is more found on Deborah Perla.
17) Father Time is a "spiritual entity", not a magic one. So he was not touched by the destruction of magic.
18) Nachos is on Earth-ni, but he lives more as an outside dragoncycle.
19) Dave, Tom's dad, was a regular Mewman who worked as a Barista at the coffee shop Lady Lucitor frequented. She tipped well and he fell in love.
20) Apparently, Marco gave his consent to Janna to stalk him and do all that creepy stuff to him. He just doesn't remember it. (?)
21) Glossaryck needs pudding to stay sane outside of the Realm of Magic, just like everyone else need it to stay sane in it.
22) Daron's favorite episodes are "Booth Buddies" and "Into the Wand".
Well guys, that were the ones I found more interesting. Not all of them made sense and some were contradicting, but still better than nothing.
Soooooo...
