Bon Bon is a deceased birthday clown who appears in "Bon Bon the Birthday Clown". He lived in Echo Creek over a hundred years prior to the present day.
Appearance[]
Bon Bon is a slightly overweight adult man who bears the typical appearance and attire of a clown. He has reddish-brown hair and black eyes, and he wears a white clown costume with an orange neck ruffle, red shoes, white face makeup, and a big red nose.
As a ghost, he resemble his living form, but in glowing blue colors.
History[]
In his titular season 2 episode, Bon Bon is first shown performing for the birthday party of the mayor of Echo Creek one hundred years prior to present day. His signature party trick involves pulling an entire birthday cake out of his hat and lighting the cake with trick relighting candles. However, during Bon Bon's trick, there is an explosive accident, and Bon Bon ends up in the hospital with severe burns on his body. On his deathbed, Bon Bon tells the mayor not to be sad and that he'll return in one hundred years "just like [his] candles". He passes away shortly after.
Years later, on the hundredth anniversary of Bon Bon's death, Star Butterfly and Janna hold a séance to welcome him back to the world of the living. However, their séance is interrupted by Ludo. During Star's magic battle against Ludo, Bon Bon returns from the afterlife as a ghost, but he is immediately pulled into Star's black hole spell.
