Daron Leah Nefcy is the creator, writer, and co-executive producer of Star vs. the Forces of Evil. She is the second female to create an animated series for Disney Channel, the first being Sue Rose, the creator of Pepper Ann and the first female to create an animated production for Disney XD.
Career
She previously worked on Wander Over Yonder and Robot and Monster as a storyboard revisionist, and she worked on Mad as a graphic artist and designer. She was also a character designer for the 2010 family film Elle: A Modern Cinderella Tale, and she was a director, writer, character designer and animator for the segment "March" in the 2012 comedy anthology film Holiday Road.
