The three main members.
The Diaz family immediately consists of Marco Diaz and his parents Rafael Diaz and Angie Diaz. There is also Marco's grandmother Linda Diaz, who appears in the episode "Cheer Up, Star". They live in Echo Creek and are the host family of Star Butterfly.
History[]
According to a live video chat hosted by Marco Diaz and the book Star and Marco's Guide to Mastering Every Dimension, Rafael Diaz moved from Jalisco, Mexico, to Cleveland, Ohio, and met his future wife Angelica "Angie" Phalange in a cafe while attending high school. They later got married, moved to Echo Creek, California, and had a son named Marco.
Over the following years, the Diaz family would serve as host family to a number of foreign exchange students, including Gustav and Star Butterfly.
In "Marco Jr.", Angie is revealed to be pregnant with her and Rafael's second son, who they have named Marco Jr. By the time of "Doop-Doop", the baby has been born and turns out to be a girl, which her parents name Mariposa.
