Etheria is a member of the Butterfly family who appeared in the episode Game of Flags.

Appearance

Etheria appears to be a portly and elderly woman. Her hair is large, tied up in two buns on either side, both buns adorning crowns. It appears to be a dulled cyan color, and her eyes appear to be a dull green. She wears attire synonymous with other members of the royal family, hers being stylized to appropriate for an old woman. This includes a purple dress, a dark-red shawl, pink high-heels, a dark-red napkin-like headdress, and dangling pearl earrings with stars at the end. She has pink stars on either cheek.

History

At the beginning of the episode, after witnessing River express crude behavior, Etheria tells Moon that Lord Miltrim is still single, to which Moon tells her that she heard her the first hundred times. When the feast finally begins, she has a guard feed her a corn on the cob. She becomes disgusted when a member of the Johansen family causes a piece of corn to fall into her drink. She joins in an argument that breaks out between the two sides, telling the Johansens that they spoiled her appetite like how they spoiled the Butterfly family tree.

She gladly joins in the game of flags in which she competes against Rivers family. During the games, she used magic seeds to spawn living roots that consumed members of the Johansen family. She and the Johansens eventually got into a physical altercation, where she revealed a sharp point inside of her flag which she intended to use to stop one of the Johansens. She was one of the final few to make it close to the top of the mountain, and was the first person to suggest charging after Star when she stole everyones flags. Etheria tried aggressively to get back, eventually tackling her to the floor and holding her by the leg. She and the other members are eventually broken up by Moon when the finalists dogpiled on Star.
