The First Queen of Mewni, nicknamed Moe by Glossaryck, was the first member of the Butterfly royal lineage and the first queen to have ruled over Mewni.

Appearance

In Mewnipendance Day, she is depicted to be dressed in a large orange dress. She appears to have dark brown hair and a tiara with a green diamond-shaped gem in the center.

In Meteora's Lesson, she appears to look like a caucasian female with orange hair. She has dusty pink-colored circles on either cheek. She appears to be wearing attire synonymous to that of an English Pilgrim.

History

The first queen and a team of four other colonists somehow managed to cross through the Realm of Magic. This caused their memories to be erased, and they would float to what would be known as Mewni.

In the episode Meteora's Lesson, Meteora and Glossaryck came across the colonists, who were covered in a yellowish substance from the Realm of Magic. They asked him if he knew who they were, to witch he begrudgingly gave them a quick overview of who they were. After this, he took Meteora's rattle, scooped a baby millhorse from the yellow liquid, and placed it inside of the rattle. He then played a game of "Eenie, meenie, Mewni, moe," a game which resulted in the unnamed woman being the winner. He threw her the wand, and she catches it, causing it to transform. He told her that she could do magic, to which she responded "okay." Before he left, he warned them of an incoming storm, telling them to huddle around a large Stump (which would go on to inspire the Stump Day celebration).

After this, the and her fellow colonists would go on to colonize Mewni. Because of a fire that occurred during Skywynne Butterfly, the rest of her history as well of the history of the first 26 queens was lost.

In Mewnipendance Day, during a retelling of Mewni's independence, Star feat ures the unnamed queen in a pop-up book. She mentions that the queen used her power to make the people of Mewni strong in order to be able to combat the monsters.

Powers and abilities

• Royal Magic Wand: being the first person to rule Mewni, she was the very first Butterfly to weald the Royal Magic Wand. Hers took a very generic shape, with pink diamonds, white wings, and a pink bow adorning it. In Mewnipendance Day, it was revealed that she used the wand to give her subjects powers.

Trivia

• The First Queen of Mewni is the only royal member to have never been given a name.
• Despite having made a physical appearance in the series, she was not among the past Butterfly royals who appeared as spirits in The Tavern at the End of the Multiverse or Cleaved.
• In Mewnipendance Day, her wand is depicted as being in the shape of a heart rather than the generic design it was given when she acquired it in Meteora's Lesson.
• In the episode Stump Day, it was revealed that each of the five original colonists carved their initials into the stump they huddled around. The queen's possible initials include SO, GG, DN, RGB, and SJP.
