Lion dragon

Lion dragons are creatures that exist on Mewni; a pair of lion dragons are the pullers of the royal stagecoach and one of the twelve Mewni aureole signs.

Appearance[]

Lion dragons have the body of a red lion covered in scales and bat-like wings, along with the head of a lion with blue eyes and a white mane. They also have a pair of horns at the top of their heads, and a lion's tail.

Trivia[]

In the Mewni zodiac, the lion dragon aureole sign comprises birth dates from Thurq 82 to Grevanz 30 (or July 23 to August 22).
- Its Earth zodiac equivalent is Leo.
- People with lion dragon as their aureole sign are described in Star vs. the Forces of Evil: The Magic Book of Spells as "Strong, Self-Righteous, Adventurous, Hates to Be Restricted, Dominating".
- The lion dragon is Solaria Butterfly's aureole sign.
The lion dragon is similar in appearance to the manticore of Greek mythology.
