"Princess Turdina" is the sixteenth episode of the third season of Star vs. the Forces of Evil.

It premiered on November 13, 2017, alongside "Starfari".[1]

Synopsis[]

A surprise visitor pressures Marco to reveal Turdina's true identity.[2]

Plot[]

The episode begins with Star, Marco, and Pony Head on their way to St. Olga's Reform School for Wayward Princesses. Because of the inspiration Marco caused with his "Princess Marco Turdina" persona, the princesses at the school want to give him an honorary degree. Marco feels guilty for pretending to be a princess for so long and wants to tell his fans the truth, but Pony Head strongly advises against it.

When they arrive at the school, a huge crowd of princesses cheers for "Princess Turdina", and Princess Arms (a princess with four arms) offers to show him how much the school has changed. Since Miss Heinous' removal from power, the princesses' new curriculum consists of nothing but nonstop partying and games. Marco tries to convince Princess Arms that rules and structure have a place in one's life sometimes, but Princess Arms is such a firm believer in being true to oneself that Marco can't bring himself to do it.

When Marco sees how much the girls at the school worship Princess Turdina and follow her teachings, Marco gets swept up in the fame. Star tries to convince him to tell the truth before it's too late, but Pony Head disagrees. Not wanting to crush his fans' spirits, Marco sides with Pony Head and decides to keep up the facade.

At Princess Turdina's ceremony, Princess Arms presents her with an honorary St. Olga's degree. As Marco gives a speech about being true to oneself, he looks at Star in the audience and realizes he can't keep up the charade anymore. However, just before he tells the truth, Miss Heinous, Gemini, and Rasticore appear. Having closely watched the confession tape that Marco recorded in "Heinous", Miss Heinous exposes him as a boy to his fans. The princesses don't believe it at first, but Marco says it's true.

Miss Heinous tells the princesses that this is why they need her running the school, and she admits that she needs them just as much as they need her. However, the princesses don't care that Marco is a boy; his teachings as "Princess Turdina" were still an inspiration to millions of people. Because of this, they refuse to listen to Miss Heinous, and she, Gemini, and Rasticore are chased off once again. Star, Marco, and their friends celebrate with another party, but a couple princesses notice that Princess Smooshy has gone missing.

Meanwhile, in another dimension, Smooshy is revealed to have been captured by Miss Heinous and Gemini. Miss Heinous uses a machine to drain energy away from Smooshy and restore her youth. Once again, she swears revenge on Marco. When Gemini points out how often Miss Heinous makes her declaration of revenge, she angrily tells him to go start the car.
