Riccardo "Ric" Durante is an American writer, storyboard artist, animator, and director known for his work on Wayside and various Disney animated series and direct-to-video features.
He is an episode writer/storyboard artist on Star vs. the Forces of Evil as of season 2.
Early life[]
Durante attended Sheridan College from 1989 to 1991 and graduated with a degree in classical animation.
Career[]
Durante's professional credits include serving as a layout designer on Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas, layout director on Pocahontas II: Journey to a New World, Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas, The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea, Mickey, Donald, Goofy: The Three Musketeers, Tarzan 2, and Brother Bear 2, a layout artist on Return to Never Land, and a layout animator on Mulan 2.
Durante was the director for the animated series Wayside, and he was a storyboard artist on The Ripping Friends, Yin Yang Yo!, Jimmy Two Shoes, Kick Buttowski: Suburban Daredevil, Wander Over Yonder, the new Mickey Mouse series of shorts, and Future-Worm!
