Sean is the security guard at the Bureaucracy of Magic who first appears in "Page Turner ".
Appearance
Sean is an anthropomorphic moose-like creature with light lime-green fur, a large nose, angular brown antlers, a short tail, and black eyes. In all of his appearances thus far, he wears a security guard uniform consisting of a white dress shirt, a black tie, a yellow jacket, black sash and gloves, green pants, black boots, and a dark goldenrod hat with a gold badge on the front.
Personality
Sean is a very polite and soft-spoken individual. He is loyal and obedient to the Magic High Commission, following all orders and reporting anything out of the ordinary to them, as shown in "Total Eclipsa the Moon" when he sees Queen Butterfly with Eclipsa.
Sean also takes his job as security guard seriously. In "Page Turner", he scans for any magical artifacts that one has on them, including Glossaryck. He also expects everyone to follow the "No Magic" rule.
Sean often gets squeamish when things go wrong, such as when Moon, Eclipsa, and Star find about Meteora and what happened to her. He also tends to be timid when people like Glossaryck or Moon get mad.
In "Junkin' Janna", he seems to be incapable of perceiving sarcasm or speeches with double meanings, neither is he able to pick up facial expressions nor social cues, as he was unable to realize that how Eclipsa hates his donuts.
History
Sean first appears in the season 2 episode "Page Turner", welcoming Glossaryck to the Bureaucracy of Magic when he is summoned by the Magic High Commission. During Glossaryck's trek through the Bureaucracy building, Sean unintentionally inconveniences him at almost every turn: warning him that magic is not allowed in the building, forcing him to go through magic detection checkpoints, and frequently informing him that various things in the building are on the fritz.
In the season 3 episode "Total Eclipsa the Moon", Sean once again appears as the security guard at the Bureaucracy of Magic when Queen Butterfly tries to sneak Eclipsa into the building. When he catches Queen Moon's unlawful activity, Moon stops him before he has a chance to report it to his superiors, and with the inadvertent help of Eclipsa, erases Sean's memory of the whole incident.
In "Butterfly Trap", Sean serves as the court stenographer during Eclipsa's trial. He shows himself to be repeatedly surprised by the truths revealed during the trial.
In "Junkin' Janna", Sean persistently gets Star and Eclipsa to try the donuts he made while they wait for the Magic High Commission in the Bureaucracy of Magic's waiting room. In "Pizza Party", he has a pizza party with the High Commission.
In "Cleaved", Sean keeps partying by himself and pigging out on food after the High Commission is wiped from existence.
