Sensei Brantley[3] is Marco Diaz and Jeremy Birnbaum's karate instructor. He first appears in "Monster Arm".
Appearance
Sensei has tanned skin, brown eyes, brown hair and a thin black beard. He wears a sleeveless black karate uniform with a red stripe on one of the legs, a red belt, and a red dragon figure on the chest area. He also has a pair of yellow earrings, a red headband, white shoes, and white tape on his forearms. There is a small tattoo on his left arm with a Japanese character that means "sky", "heaven", or "god".
While working at Britta's Tacos, he wears a yellow hat and apron, both of which have the restaurant's logo on them.
Personality
Sensei appears to take great pride in his job and in the "noble sport" of karate, though he offhandedly mentions that he's only the sensei for a strip mall dojo.
Sensei also greatly disapproves of cheating, as he disqualifies both Marco Diaz and Jeremy Birnbaum for doing so during a karate tournament, but he does think that Marco's monster arm is cool.
In "Red Belt", Sensei is shown to be somewhat immature, as he still lives with his mother at the age of 38, rides a bicycle, and has a short attention span. This is implied to be, at least in part, a consequence of his failure to move past the green belt level of karate up to that point.
In "All Belts are Off", he is shown watching children's cartoon shows, and admits to learning most of his "life lessons" from them.
