Sir Scarsguard is a royal guard of Mewni who babysat Star Butterfly when she was little. During his time with the girl, he taught her various things, including how to snap necks and wield a sword.
Appearance[]
Scarsguard has a tanned skin tone, two scars on his face, black eyes and a black goatee, with stubble across his face. He wears a guard uniform, with a star on his chest plate, spikes on his shoulders, and two spikes on his wrist bands. He also has a light blue helmet with a star symbol, a pair of yellow wings, and one yellow spike on top.
In the present, he is shown to be missing several teeth (which possibly fell out due to age).

Star Butterfly[]
While their relationship is mostly unknown, Scarsguard taught her how to defend herself among other things. When the young Star beheaded a training dummy (as seen in "Freeze Day"), he was shown smiling at her action. In "Divide", Star believed he was the best candidate available to fight Meteora, citing his impressive service record.
