"Star and the Forces of Evil" is the unaired 2009 pilot episode of Star vs. the Forces of Evil made for Nickelodeon, being one of few networks the series was pitched to, prior to eventually being greenlit by Disney. It would eventually be leaked on January 20, 2025.
The pilot dates back to the original vision for the series, with Star Butterfly being a delusional 5th grader (with no friends) who only fancies herself as a magical super hero from a magical land, without such self-proclamations actually being true.
