Suzanne Elise "Suzie" Vlček (pronounced "vl-chek") is an American television writer, animatic artist, and director known for her work on My Gym Partner's a Monkey and Chowder.
She is a story writer on Star vs. the Forces of Evil, credited for only one episode in season 2.
Early life[]
Vlcek graduated from De Anza College in San Francisco in 1995 with an A.A. in film.
Career[]
Vlcek has been writing and directing music videos for over a decade, and her work has been described as evocative, complex, bittersweet, heartbreaking, and honest. She is notable for directing music videos for the indie bands Silversun Pickups and Tegan and Sara, her work for which has been recognized by magazines like Rolling Stone and Out.
Vlcek's other professional credits include serving as animatics assistant on two episodes of Time Squad, writer and production coordinator on My Gym Partner's a Monkey, animatic editor on Chowder, American Dad!, and The Powerpuff Girls: Dance Pantsed, animatic timer on Secret Mountain Fort Awesome and Uncle Grandpa, and story writer on We Bare Bears.
