Tad is a short hairy Woolett and Kelly's ex-boyfriend. He is usually seen hanging around inside Kelly's hair, even after their ultimate breakup in "Lava Lake Beach".
Appearance[]
Tad is a creature of short stature completely covered in turquoise hair, very similar to Kelly's, with eyes, a mouth, and two brown-skinned legs. This appearance causes him to blend into Kelly's hair. In "Lava Lake Beach", Tad is revealed to have at least two sets of arms.
Personality[]
Tad is introduced as very laid-back and nice, having a habit of lazing on Kelly's head. He later becomes quite self-righteous and clingy, however, going to great lengths to get back together with Kelly after their breakup and constantly bragging about how much he makes a difference as a "nester".
History[]
Tad first appears near the end of "Goblin Dogs", having been camouflaged in his then-girlfriend Kelly's hair the entire time. While the rest of the characters sought after the Goblin Dogs, Tad states that he is a vegan and doesn't really eat hot dogs, but went along because he likes "hanging out" with others.
In "The Bounce Lounge", Kelly states that she and Tad broke up, and she joins the rest of the old Bounce Crew in saving the Bounce Lounge from being closed in order to get her mind off their breakup. Near the end of the episode, Tad and Kelly get back together.
In "Starcrushed", Tad and Kelly are stated to be on their third "break" of the week.
In "Lava Lake Beach", when Kelly decides she wants to break up with Tad for good, Tad drowns his sorrows in pizza and soda, and he refuses to move out of Kelly's hair. When Marco (whom Tad considers to be his best friend) talks to him and helps him move on, Tad subsequently helps Marco realize his true feelings for Star Butterfly.
In "Stump Day", Tad is revealed to still be living inside Kelly's hair and agrees with Janna's accusation to his ex that she might be developing feelings for Marco.
In "Conquer", he appears during the "Marc-nificent Seven"'s battle against Meteora Butterfly, still refusing to move out, and still trying to win Kelly back. After Kelly is hit, Tad is sent flying out of her, and pretends to be hurt more than he is (to Kelly's annoyance). Kelly is vanquished by Meteora in the midst of arguing with Tad, leaving him to cry out her name in anguish.
In "Kelly's World", Tad has successfully moved on from his breakup with Kelly after joining a self-help group and finding new purpose in his life - although he has a habit of repeatedly calling Kelly and telling her he has moved on from their relationship.
