It was a total cliffhanger. I don't know what will happen next. How will Marco find Star? (because she said that she will leave Earth forever). Did the magic also take away his scissors btw? I hope not.
Well some users have already spoiled the ending while it was still airing. I am speechless, I really don't know what to say because one half of me is sort of happy that Star said what she said and that the two are friends again but the other half is bummed out that Star has had to leave Marco because of Toffee. It sets up that season 3 might be the final season.
I will say that Star could of given Marco a heads up on Toffee, the finger might be a vague warning but Marco is still a key lure since Storm the Castle. Marco has his scissors so he could just visit her whenever he likes unless they were taken by Star or they faded away as well but thats unlikely.
H'okay. Everyone, retrieve your 'Season Finale B' kits. Inside you will find a shock blanket, a box of chocolate, a pillow (To either lie on, scream into or sponge up tears), a box of tissues and a stuffed animal with a cute name (Mine was 'Boo boo'). This is gonna be a rough break people.
Thanks Wise288, I am In desprate need of one right now. Now if you will exuse me, i'll take my Season finale B kit and go to my room *stomps upstairs, slams bedroom door, muffled scream and a few tears*
Honestly I say season 2 was miles better than season 1!
I liked the changed they did like removing Brittney and Marco two friends and gave Janna move screen time. The plot was more intriguing than the inital Ludo wanting the wand and aswell world building (Star family history). Lastly the main two has grown alot in terms of character development too!
Season 2 is the recovery season for season 1 hence why things were slow and didn't involve as much violence which was something I enjoyed most about the series. Season three is comming in a couple of months and a bigger fight is on the way.
This episode completely shell-shocked me. I was surprisingly unsurprising when Star confessed to Marco (I kinda knew it was coming), but then when she suddenly left and everything just went crazy in the last ten seconds or so I was just... wow. And did anyone else notice the piano music in the very end skip when Marco saw Star's room disappearing? Great touch. Heartbreaking. The only reassurance I have now is that when the show comes back, they'll need to face these issues head-on. If they do end up just drawing out the Starco thing for a whole awkward season I'll go nuts. I'm for Starco in the endgame, all the way. Also, if anyone cares to know, I have a friend who is EXACTLY like Star in every way, and the events of this episode kind of mirrored something that happened once before with her. Even Star denying her own feelings was similar. So I guess it was kind of a flashback for me. Though it might be cool to mention.
So the first question that I have about this is: what is in store for Season 3? Is Star leaving and having to fight Toffee going to be like a season-long story arc? Is it going to be just contained for the premiere episode? Will Marco try to follow Star and figure out what is going on? And what was up with that Princess song in "Face The Music," because it's obvious she didn't put that ending act with her and Marco into the song??
So many questions, so much potential. I just really hope we don't have to wait like a year for Season 3 like we had to for Season 2.
To be honest, I'm still not 100% sure how I feel about the finale other than that it was a REALLY great way to end the season. The only thing I'm truly, definitely bummed out is that we're gonna have to wait at least four months for the start of season three.

As long as it's not like the seven or eight months we had to wait for Season 2, I'm down.
But yeah, the sooner they start Season 3 the better
1st part of the finally "Face the Music"
Interesting that it seems Mewni is getting more open minded people other than Star, is Mewni getting a renaissance or enlightenment soon? And also how did the songwriter get such specific info about Star's and Marco's relationship by that I mean the "Blood Moon Dance" 'spell', I mean is not hard to see she may have a crush on him just by the way they act together, but then mentions such an unknown fact unless those demons talk to Mewmans more often.
2nd part of the finally "Starcrushed"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why just wwwhhhyyy??? A cliffhanger! NNooo!!!...
Okay, now that that's over. Just finished watching it and I'm not happy that it ended like it, but also at the fact that Toffee became more powerful than this continuum's embodiment of space-time so easily, yet the other frankly less powerful beings (in my opinion anyways) put more of a fight than he/it. Then again Glossaryck seemed like the only member of the Council not that affected by the "magic shortage", which seemed not to bother Star either (that concept seemed to come and go as it pleased... that sound familiar, doesn't it?) which probably showed just how powerful these beings are, I mean Star is so proficient with magic that even after she found out about the shortage she still created more spells and is probably just at the cusp of being able to transform into her butterfly form probably years if not decades (I'm not sure what Mewni years are meant to be) ahead of her mother's magical abilities. I feel there might be a time jump at the beginning of season 3 that'll show what Toffee has done to the multiverse in his search for Star and her wand as I'm sure he doesn't feel is enough just to have the book, all of Glossaryck's knowledge, and part of the Butterfly's heirloom wand crystal. Which could mean we get to see some of Marco's skills actually to the test in his own pursue to find Star and find out why she left or at least find her for her safety as he'll probably find out what made her leave on the way to her.
I hope the wait for season 3 is merciful, but who knows.
My thoughts on starcrushed are that in season 3 marco will use the dimensional siccors that were give to him by Hekapoo and go to muni and when hes there toffee will come to take his finger on muni aswell then after a fight he will realise they dont have his finger and ask star threatening marco's life star will tell him and he'll get his finger back

This is basicaly the same theory i have thought of.
I'm so sad I can't even write right now. My god the feels T~T. I didn't expect face the music to be all fun and games, but that ending was just NO. I thought the songwriter was going to sing about how much star likes going on adventures. Then when he started singing about glossaryk, I was too shocked. WHY WOULD STAR PUT THAT IN THERE?! It was wrong for Queen Butterfly to lie, but I couldn't help but feel bad. Sometimes you can't say the truth. The he went on about Star liking Marco, as a Starco fangirl I should have been rejoicing. But I couldn't help but turn away.
Starcrushed was just hard to watch. I did like seeing Queen Butterfly in armor. I don't know which one I should care more about, Starco or Toffee. You know what, I'm over Shipping! I just really wanna hug Queen butterfly. She now has glossaryk, the spell book, and her precious baby Star to worry about. Star can be really sweet, but lately she is being kind of selfish. She thinks that everything has to go her way. ut look where that ended. She so caught up in boy drama she forgot about retrieving glossaryk, now Mewni is in trouble. I know she wants to be herself, but she can't. She was born into royalty, she is destined to be a queen. There is no way around it. She needs to be more careful.
Sorry for my messy and long comment. I know it's a little all over the place but I just have so muh to say about the last episode. I don't want Staro drama next season. I want to know more about Queen Butterfly, Ludo, Toffe, and Glossaryk. Those are the only people I care about right now.
It was very interesting. Just very. I know Season 3 will be a great run...very great...as for Star and Marco, that confession is gonna slowly rip them apart as well as Jackie...I know it will. I'm also certain she'll likely end up like Eclipsa did....it just won't surprise me.
Honestly, i liked it.... But i cried every time i watch the episodes again, and again, and again.
And aso, did you see star taking all her stuff ?? Well, she took an extra thing.. The ending song
Im pretty sad
I need the "Season Finale B" kit right now please.
Only 2 and a half months till season 3 ... No worries...
they hyped these episodes up to the point where i couldn't focus at all when i went to school. but they were worth the wait. my mom sat down and watched the whole thing with me, and then we discussed "starcrushed". it shows the contrast when star is faced with an actual villain, like in "storm the castle" when she initially brushed off toffee as another of ludo's mooks, or a metaphysical "villain" being her crush on marco and how it affects their friendship after her subsequent departure. i would've really liked to see glossaryk fight toffee before he fought moon, or at least gotten a hint as to where he could be, being this omnipotent god and everything.
one of my biggest worries (besides ruberiot disregarding star's privacy and blurting out her business for all to hear) is the potential state of unrest in mewni from the aftermath of "face the music". when season three comes in a few months, i hope they address the political unrest of the mewnian empire and assure us that the king is not just a figurehead of any kind. there's just so much i'm looking forward to...
Hmm, everything was pretty much goes in Star's way at first like Kurukuru said, so I think the reason that Star cries and leaves is simple. She's afraid that with her feelings right now, all relationships will be ripped apart, including her queenie business. Expecting a lot of tears to come in the first Season 3 episodes in Mewni...
Hey! I know I'm a little late on this but, i think that offscreen, the Mewmans have probably noticed that Marco has been frequently visiting Mewni, and it was probably speculated by them that Marco is Star's boyfriend since he was even invited to sit with the Royal Family on Song Day. Even River keeps referring to Marco as Star's boyfriend.
Another theory of mine that might address the issue about Star putting her parents in a bad light due to the second part of her Princess Song was that she was probably telling her entire life story up to the present to Ruberiot and of course, in those stories Marco would have been mentioned a lot. In the story (aforementioned life story) as well, since Star and Ruberiot wanted to revolutionize Song Day, they probably chose to include Star losing Glossaryck and her book to Ludo to state one of Star's imperfections or flaws, and unknowingly discredited the King and Queen in the process (for the record, if you watch the conversation between Star and her parents as she told them how she lost Glossaryck, they only stated "We'll take care of it", and none of those words from Ruberiot's song).
My theory is hard to believe tho but hopefully we'll get an explanation from Ruberiot since he is in season 3 premiere. Woot woot!!
Well, the Mewmans reunited with the King in Season 3. Star should have something more to do for them tho. After that movie event, every clue is secretly solved, everything turns back to normal except for the Eclipsa thing... and the love triangle too, which is the purpose of this thread. Kinda disappointed how things just escalated so quickly, including the feels, but I'm interested to see what the new clues would be.
Not every secret Phantom of Ra. With the way Toffee spoke before Ludo, he acted like he knows more is coming. There's also heinous and Toffee's army buddy Rasticore to worry about. We don't even know what that Chamber or that floor pattern at St. O's means. Eclipsa will be the main thing to worry about though and what could happen to Moon.
