I'll show you what Delta454 wrote in English, "In the new ending the picture is static, not mobile. The castle of Mouni is depicted. Star stands near one tower and watches the sunset, she is now not such a merry song with a chorus more serious, this personifies the increased tension in the cartoon", Delta, because of the last 2 season finales on the increased tension thing, you can say that again. So, Creativa Fest did showed something on Season 3 after all, eventhough it's not the premiere date.
Is it just me, or the season 3 ending picture seems a bit off? It tries to be brooding and foreboding, while also foreshadowing some events, but there is something, I can't quite put my finger on, that suspends my belief.
Speaking of which, where did you get that photo? Was that from the Season 3 ending or is it another fanmade photo?
Even for a fan made photo, it looks just the same as the ending 3.
I went to Creativa Fest and that was pretty much how the ending is, of course, the only animation is the sun setting in the distance turning into night and the wind blowing Star's hair and the castle flags.
The song is really epic and melancholic. Daron said she wanted to give us this anime vibes when we watched the ending. It was really touching.
Well, it could go the same way 'Rick and Morty' did, where they do a massive premiere (in their case just long-awaited) then continue with a regular schedule afterwards. I don't think they can or will switch their schedule just due to some, all in all, unimportant detail.
