Todd Casey is an American writer, producer, and story editor for television and film known for his work on various animated series and for co-producing and writing the 2015 film Krampus.

He is a story writer on Star vs. the Forces of Evil.

Early life[]

Casey graduated from the University of Mary Washington in 2003.

Career[]

Todd has been the supervising producer of Marvel Entertainment and the director of development of Marvel Television Animation, who worked in the entire series of DTV projects, under the production of Marvel Animation Studios. He started his career as an entertainment journalist but later became the executive in charge of production for Cartoon Network's Justice League Unlimited, Teen Titans, and Batman: The Brave and the Bold.

He penned the Japanese-American animated series Transformers: Animated in 2007, and he was the associate producer for G.I. Joe: Resolute in 2009. Subsequently, he became a full-time writer at Warner Bros. Todd also penned and developed the 2011 reboot of ThunderCats and the direct-to-video animated film Green Lantern: Emerald Knights. His work venture with Marvel includes Astonishing X-Men: Dangerous, Ultimate Wolverine vs. Hulk, Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H., Avengers Assemble, and more.

In 2015, Casey -penned the Christmas horror comedy film Krampus alongside Michael Dougherty and Zach Shields. He also wrote for Disney Channel's Wander Over Yonder, Nickelodeon's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Disney XD's Future-Worm!, and he collaborated with Noelle Stevenson for the upcoming fantasy adventure comic series 4 Wizards.
