Travis Hampton Willingham is an American voice actor who provides voices on numerous anime, cartoons, and video games, most notably as Roy Mustang in the English dub of Fullmetal Alchemist and the current voice of Knuckles the Echidna in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise.

He voices Mackie Hand and Meat Fork in Star vs. the Forces of Evil.

Early life[]

Willingham hails from from Texas and an athletic background. He graduated from Texas Christian University's theatre program in 2003.

Career[]

Willingham has been a fan of the voice acting industry for decades, and he lent his voice to over 150 animation titles and video game franchises. He began his career in Dallas and worked on many popular anime titles developed for American markets, including Roy Mustang in Fullmetal Alchemist, Portgas D. Ace in the Funimation dub of One Piece, and several characters in Naruto and Bleach.

After moving to Los Angeles, he worked on such titles as Marvel's The Super Hero Squad Show as the Incredible Hulk and Human Torch. Willingham has continued to work with Marvel Animation by maintaining the role of Thor in Marvel's Avengers Assemble, Ultimate Spider-Man, and Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H.

In 2013, Willingham was cast as King Roland II in Disney Junior's Sofia the First. Other credits include Superman in Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes, Ganbat in The Legend of Korra, and Cannonbolt in the 2016 reboot of Ben 10.

In video games, Willingham is the current voice of Knuckles the Echidna in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise and Guile in the newer titles of the Street Fighter series. He also provided voiceover and motion capture for Spartan Fred-104 in Halo 5: Guardians, the Skylanders series, Call of Duty: Black Ops II, Resident Evil 6, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, and Grand Theft Auto V.

In live-action, Willingham has starred in Secondhand Lions, The Guardian, A Perfect Getaway, and Nip/Tuck. He also co-stars on Critical Role, a live-streamed Dungeons and Dragons web series shown on the Twitch channel Geek & Sundry.
