I've already written my thoughts here To my theory comment: By the way Spoilers Alert!
What is even Surprising to even know what really made a point to make something become what is the worst thing to happen in Surviving the Spiderbites...
First of, the Book of Spells, I'm not sure if you notice but it's starting to be fascinating how it's really playing a part in the recent episodes of this Season. Literally I never even thought the book could be any key to this! (And if you own it, it could be all in our hands and we've never known!)
I even had a theory mouths ago when the book was released that if the book appears in the real world then certainly it might've come back to their world. Has no one even thought of that? But that's not the worst thing, in fact, That is really amazing to know. It's actually Star Herself!
She did it Again! This time with Eclipsa with all people, if you're asking me I'm starting to lose trust on Star. I'll still support her since I know she is really doing it to benefit for what's good for Mewni, But outside of that don't expect the truth out of her. This I say is literally the third person she actually keeping secrets from. She kept a secret to Tom from the kiss, She now keeping one to Eclipsa from the Book of Spells, (I don't know everyone remembers this) She Even kept a secret from Marco of the All-seeing eye Spell during the clown séance! If anything, Star ever said the truth now then well... good luck going through a conversation to not make it into an argument.
And If anything in this episode, it more of the other way around for Star to losing trust o n Eclipsa. I don't really know what could be the full reason But I do think it because she possible knows that one spell that actually can release Globgor.
For those who own the book, you all might remember this page from Solaria: The Monster Carver, who is actually Eclipsa's mother. Believe it or not, she does have a spell that does actually release any subject in an indestructible crystal. Even For Crystals like Rhombulus.
If she finds that out, then maybe everything will finally be in Eclipsa way to be as to finally be able to free Globgor with the spell. Unless if she already knows then that would mean Eclipsa Lied, but then what would it mean for Star or possibly the rest of the kingdom of Mewni, Certainly she really doesn't what Eclipsa to know as she literally just lied, and yet she wants to help Eclipsa to make the entire kingdom like her, or love her for being who she is.
Maybe to foreshadowed to being that Globgor may not be generous as much as Eclipsa, even to all the painting and sculptures even shows to be quite a threat to the Spiderbite Family.
We'll just have to wait and see.
Update before the event of Cornonation[]
Well at least to say for this before The episode Was theroy was correct! First of, Eclipsa already knew she lied and actually search the info off screen by reading her mind. (I was surprised she was cool with it to find out she's been lied to But I guess the nervous look really gave it away) and that she really did came up with the spell from her mother's chapter, Same picture and everything. And apperently she really was about to even set out the spell to actually free Globgor!
It wasn't until Globgor spoke to her to even say that the world ain't ready for him, and yet from what people said about him in the previous episode, Screw it! He's actually quite a sweet guy.
Now to think she might've done it before the event of the Cornonation, and yet came a surprise twist, since she had nothing to do with his freedom and trying to do more avoidence then harm.
It was even surprising to find out Rhombulus was behind the whole thing, and thankfully was place into justice...hopefully I don't know what they'll really do to him other then be in a prison cell.
It was a little disappointing thought since she attempt to do the spell but didn't really do it.
Not say this theory was kinda wasted but Here's the thing, Star could've just thrown the cornonation everyone was setting up, and the same thing would've happen. I don't think even reviving the Book of spells was even nessesary, as to believe she really would done nothing about it and Rhombulus would've still been guilty. (Not to mention to even think that now it's restored in the series, it basically rids the continiuity for the real life Book of Spells for it now to be in need of an update)
Then again It did played a major part in The Monster and the queen , so it would make sense for her to plan out that spell before even setting out to do so it was only unfortuanete she didn't get to use it in action (She had her ear pierced for nothing), and this is the final season, so I don't think anything will happen anymore to that spell book other then to Glossaryck having his room back.
Still by all means at least everything is starting to be resolved in this season. All is left is the new villan's arrival, and maybe find a new mystery to think of I'm gain for this one here...
