Why I think Season 4 of SVTFOE isn't as bad as everyone says

I know that this is an old topic but I feel like it's one that i still stand by strongly. Yes Season 4 of SVTFOE wasn't the best season of the show but I don't think it's nearly as bad as some fans make it out to be and I don't think that the series finale Cleaved is the worst finale of a show. I think that still goes to the series finale of Game of Thrones only because it had 6 episodes to get to the finish line whereas the fourth season of SVTFOE was a lot longer than Season 8 of Game of Thrones. Do I agree that the finale has some problems. Yes it had problems but I think it mainly had to do with the fact that the series finale was only a 22 minute episode when it should have been a 40 minute or even 1 hr finale so that it would have had time to properly get to the ending. Now I know that some have compared Star to doing something incredibly horrible but I really don't think that happened because A. This is a Disney Show and even Disney wouldn't have a ending with horrible implications like that and B. It's a Fantasy Series so you can learn to suspend your disbelief. The thing I always look at is the merging of Earth and Mewni but there were still magical creatures going around and I think if Star had completely destroyed magical then those magical creatures wouldn't be going around. I have seen some try to say we didn't see the laser puppies in the ending but the thing is that the laser puppies probably just lost their magic which is shooting lasers out of their eyes so there's a good chance that they're just regular puppies now. Plus if there was a fifth season or a movie then there's a chance that they'd retcon some things and destroying all magic would probably be the one thing that they could easily retcon
